Just as musicians enjoy playing "cover" version of favorite pop artist songs, I like to draw "covers" of other cartoonists, especially the Lonnie-toons & Disney genres.

Nod to the Greats (2018-2022)

Since childhood, I have been in awe with "the greats" - the California animators of the mid1900s. Their ability to exagegrate expressions, hiding nothing, creates a charming truth and honesty in their characters. No matter if the character is "good" or "evil", there is integrity. We know exactly who they are. This sketchbook is a nod the "great ones".
