Beautiful Me - Skaista Es
Beautiful Me, or "Skaista Es" in Latvian. 'Skaista' in Latvian means beautiful, and also alive, fresh, important and relevant in the Universe as a whole. This seems obvious, yet in reality it is a truth we all struggle with our whole lives. My goal in this study was to create a "home" to come back too, every day, no matter where physically I was or what I was doing during the day. Someplace familiar, someplace loving, someplace accepting. That way, my own truth is no longer a struggle; instead, it simply 'is". Sending you a sparkling virtual hug, Anda :o)
Loving Treatment, Daily meditation
read daily, as it creates a healthy consciousness and therefore, a healthy body.
DEEP AT THE CENTER OF MY BEING, there is an infinite well of love. I now allow this love to flow to the surface. It fills my heart, my body, my mind, my consciousness, my very being, and radiates out from me in all directions and returns multiplied. The more love I use and give, the more I have to give; the supply is endless. The use of love makes ME FEEL GOOD. It is an expression of my inner joy.
And so it is.
I love you

Skaista Barenīte - Skaista Es
I think of ancient Latvian versus, “dainas”, and their explanation. The largest group of dainas are about “saule”, sun, while the second largest are about “barenītes”, orphans. Orphans are viewed in highest regard, unlike in religions and western culture where they are thought of as bad or worse. An orphan as defined in dainas, is someone without a structured family. Parents, grandparents, siblings may have died physically, or may not function mentally to be able to play that role. They are not there, or neglectful and/or abusive. The worst case is lack of mother. Because of this, an orphan is thought of as not spoiled, as they have had nothing given to them, and so they are also thought of as best suitors for marriage. Practically speaking, no one can survive without a family unit, so orphans are helped by Laima, the spirit of fortune, and all mother spirits of the universe. Laima and mother spirits give preference to help the orphans, over children who come from loving, structured families, as the latter already have everything they need. Of course, there is a catch. Orphans cannot live with motive of revenge or need of sympathy. As long as orphans go about their business in a practical sense, they are able to receive the help offered by Laima and the mother spirits.
